In no way did Kerry allign himself with Michael Moore, certainly not in the content of his article. He is way too much of a moderate. If you are referring to his mention of the infamous '7 minutes', Kerry has mentioned on earlier occasions and does not, as Moore does, harp on the Saudi connection. Saying he would have acted faster is a legitimate point, if not really a good one. So basiclly, wtf are you talking about?

My apologies for appearing obtuse....I'll elucidate:

Moore spent a good deal of time in 'Fahrenheit' bagging on Bush and the '7 Minutes'. Kerry is now squawking on the same issue, with the same point. Agreement = aligned.

It's easy for John Kerry, Michael Moore, or any of us to Monday-Morning Quarterback the situation. But if you look at Kerry's senate record, he doesn't exactly appear to be a man of swift & decisive action.
