Oddly enough, I have heard for years from older folks that the sun is much hotter than when they were kids. I had thought it to be an illusion of aging until the last five or so years, when I've started to agree. Anyone else out there that's been around long enough to think that the sun is hotter? Or am I still trippin'?

I wouldn't be surprised if the sun's heat output (and corona and brightness and etc) fluctuated a lot in human terms over the decades.

I'll get back to you in ten years when I've had a chance to get all empirical about it.
