Makes me wonder why someone doesn't invent a cage which includes a false inset wall on one end which would expand to get the animal out.
Better yet, tie a rope around it while it was drugged, tie the other end of the rope to a random tree stump at the drop location, open the back of the cage and hit the accelerator. Sucker'd be out of there in a hurry...
