i suppose the ak itself is nice, but what is it about gold that people seem to associate with class? Does Larry Flint's gold wheelchair really look classy? (absolutely no offence meant to LF). What cracks me up about this kind of conspicuous consumption (aka bling?) is that even though everyone agrees that any asswipe can have something gold plated, we still tend to hold it in some kind of awe (it obviously doesn�t make you NOT an asswipe). It sort of reminds me of the junior high-schooler who colors his/her hair something wacky to 'express individuality' even though there are 5 others on campus who already did it.
