| | | | | | Been safe so far with my MSN shit, but it's only a matter of time until someone writes around it. | | | |
| | | | | | | I read this story, submitted it and then immediately went and downloaded Firefox. Holy fucking shit.
Browsing teh intarweb is actually FUN again, instead of the pain in the ass it was when my two pop-up blockers started to fail.
FUCK INTERNET EXPLORER AS A WEB BROWSER.
| | | | | | | Welcome to enlightenment, sir.
Firefox is the fuking diarrhea. Opera has some nice things too, but something about it grates me. Firefox FOREVAR!~
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | I use IE and my Google pop-up blocker works perfectly, still. 2260 blocked | | | |
| | | | | | | Good for you, cockmuffin. | | | |
| | | | | | | I have 7856 pieces of shit blocked on my google blocker. It works for me, it must be YOU Mr. SexNinjaMcJerkingOff! | | | |
| | | | | | | no way the ninja knows what he's talking about.
i had all sorts of fucking problems with IE but then i switched to Opera. havent had a single pop-up, adware, or spyware program on my computer since!
| | | | | | | Somebody should tell this spunkmunky that he has to clicky 'No' when the little box asks if he wants to install the 'Super FREE XXX' plugin. I'm at 5230 blocks with Google and still rockin. | | | |
| | | | | | | Well I'd be very interested to hear why you assholes think IE+Google toolbar is better choice than Mozilla/Opera.
To name a few reasons why you should switch to Moz (I know next to nothing about Opera):
Moz is considered more secure than IE because it doesn't allow websites to run shit in the background, i.e. you shouldn't experience 'drive by downloads' and have to contend with the associated trojans/hijackers and spyware. Moz also allows you to turn off popups and perform web searches using the engine of your choice from within the address bar (Google if you must, but WINNARS use Vivisimo.
Moz also displays web pages to W3C standard, so sites are displayed as they were ment to be viewed, Firefox also displays pages in an optimised window so you should get the best view of the site for your screen resolution.
Firefox is very lightweight and most people notice a reduction in page loading time in general, there's also the fantastic tabbed browsing feature, that I miss like a limb when I have to use IE at work.
So sitting there like a fag and calling people 'spunkmonkey' will probably do you little good when your browser gets hijacked or you end up with a trojan or keylogger, the mighty Google toolbar won't help you then, you smug fuk :)

| | | | | | | 'Somebody should tell this spunkmunky that he has to clicky 'No' when the little box asks if he wants to install the 'Super FREE XXX' plugin.'
jesus, how stupid do you think I am?
And this Tab feature simply kicks my ass when I use it.
| | | | | | | For the record, there are various third-party add-ons you can download for IE that will give it pop-up blocking and tab browsing, but there's nothing I know of that will prevent it from running just about any executable code anyone can throw at it, short of locking down the Security Zone settings to the point that IE loses its one edge -- it lets web designers be sloppy.
I keep IE around for when sites (like my company's IE-happy HR site) do things specifically for IE, or when they use launch code for flash/movies/etc that is IE-only.
| | | | | | | | | | | | i must thank and credit vasudeva for turning me on to firefox. that shit is excellent.
thanks vas : ) | | | |
| | | | | | | I wasn't talkin' bout SNMD, I was talking about that Paul Haigh fella in the article. THAT is whom I chose to label a spunkmunky. Talk about self-agrandizing behavior.
Firefox is rad, but I have a problem with software that is updated nightly. See, I'm a bit OCD, and teh nightly updates wreak havoc with my condition.
To my Fag-Calling Friend Lefen: My little condition also serves me well. I'm a lil' nutty about things like AV scans, spyware scans, locking down my router, etc. I've been peacefully cruising along our beloved intarweb since 1994, and have only been infected once....u smug fuk. (note the absence of cutsie ascii art here)

BTW Clavis, are you sure you turned off that light switch in the hall?
| | | | | | | I dont think your refrigerator door is closed all the way. | | | |
| | | | | | | U fukz RAWK!!!
You were right cent....I closed it, and in the process discovered that I'd left the oven on. Many thanks.
| | | | | | | | | | | | I spoke to someone who was going to do an investment in Vivisimo. He didn't do it because it's basically one guy who has worked out a great categorizing engine. Google will figure that out sooner or later...I use both search engines. IE works...been using Firefox for awhile on my linux box; wasn't excited about switcihng over until a few revs had gone through...think I'll give it a shot. I dig Tab browsing. | | | |

Hey. You. Yeah, you, anonymous person. If you logged in, you could comment, you know...

| Sexual Asspussy | This is awesome.
This is the first pornsite I've found in years that I'd actually advertise to swarmers. When you first load it up, it looks just like every crappy scam site out there, except that it's real. It's huge, it's updated constantly, there's no spam, no popups, and no bullshit -- and it's completely free. When you sign up through that link above and respond to the confirmation email, I make a bit of loose change.
See what other swarmers have to say about it. People love this place, so I feel fine about sending you there and am confident you will enjoy boners.
