The unemployment figures are lower because a massive segment of the population had their benefits run out in the past few months.
What economy still exists is artificial. And it only exists because the interest rates have been kept down. They'll have to go up soon before inflation really kicks in.

In the typical liberal elitist fashion, we get more of a 'If you don't get it I can't explain it to you' flavor of response.
It's really too bad. I'd like to see well thought out and rational arguements for larger, more invasive government; why getting rich is necessarily bad; why progressive taxation is fair; why racist regulations are right; etc....
