I was going to ask the same question but now that I see how dumb it is I'm glad I didn't.

The whole thing is stupid. Teachers have to deal with these little shitbags every day, and if you ask most parents, they will tell you that their children are angels. Yeah, Right. Maybe taping the kid to a chair was a little extreme, but I have the feeling the little fiker deserved it.

We need more of this type of punishment. When I was in elementary school and kids acted up in gym, my teacher would have you face the wall and assume the position, at which time he would smack your ass with a 2x4. This dude was the best. When kids would argue, he had them lace up the boxing gloves and fight until one of us was knocked out or staggered real good. Kids got teeth knocked out, and black eyes and shit, it was awesome...

I agree with Tank, the little fucker probably deserved it....notice how it didn't say WHY he was in detention.......there's more than likely a good reason for that.
