Will Smith can be fine and keen -- check 'Six Degrees of Separation' in which he is awesome -- but with a movie like this, which features whizz-bang scifi concepts, chances are they'll turn it into another crappy Wild Wild West.

I like how it all started with someone else's script, but they had to toss in Asimov because they bought the rights. It is things like this that make me hate Hollywood.
