The sickening part is to see the 'book' from the movie on the NYT best seller list when so many kids will never read the original. Shades of Pan, Pooh, Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang, and a host of other good book / bad movies. For shame.
I did...I fugured my kids (yes, kids) would enjoy it. They didn't. It was not child-friendly...in typical Hollowood fashion. There must have been three *small* groups in an otherwise empty theater. Someone fucked a two-hundred word masterpeice and put it away wet.
