| | | I hate to say it but I believe every word. It all makes way too much sense. We have a history of setting up dictators and then knocking them down for political or economic reasons. | | | |
| |
| |
| |
| | | Who cares? Who raised you, monkey? | | | |
| |
| | | So whats the point? OK, in the 80's we supported Saddam as the lesser of 2 evils between Iran and Iraq, but remember we just had hostages in Iran for like over a year and at that time Khomeini was perceived as the bigger problem in the region. We armed Saddam. OK fine. Does that preclude us from altering our foreign policy as geopolitics change, or preclude the US from taking him out just because there was a time we supported him - of course not.
This is lefty propaganda that tries to garner some sort of sympathy for Saddam as someone who played by the rules and did our bidding, and implies that he was justified invading Kuwait in the first place and we wronged HIM by throwing his ass out of kuwait, while the real villain is (of course) America.
| |
| | | Ok, first off, all of politics are dynamic, nothing stands still. Treaties are made and broken every day. The US joined teh side of one oil rich country to gain more oil; more power over something which we had little to no control over.
We are the most powerful nation, we could have had Saddam in two days if we wanted. However, he was never really that much of a threat, so there was no real reason to go after him. WTF dont you people get about this...The US is the most powerful nation today, we can do whatever the fuck we want and yet we dont....It just makes me sick.
| |
| | | Well, fuk. It's on the internet, so it MUST be true. | | | |
| |
| | | Sympathy for Saddam? Whut the HAIL you talkin bout. | | | |
| |
| | | I'm just pissed that the world doesnt recognize that the US has influenced everything to such an extent that we basically own it. | | | |
| |
| | | I think they do -- I think that's why everyone hates and fears us, or kisses our ass. | | | |
| |
| | | reminded me of a harry shearer bit-
we know he's got chemical weapons - we've got the receipts
| |
| | | whats funny is if america collapsed or was destroyed the rest of the world would soon follow...becuase they rely on our money. | | | |
| |
| |
| |
| | | just fucking because..i said i was and im an american...biatch..now go fix me some turket pot pie.. | | | |
| |
| | | It's not funny cause you forgot to put on your CuntWhiffle sunglasses with the special Mystery Viewing mode. | | | |
| |
| | | i think if america were to fall apart, it would just be replaced with another global power. This clip is interesting though. I am not sure on the validity, but it does make a great deal of sense. Why can't we just have a nuclear war and get it over with. Then, we can all be like.. "what a mistake and blah blah blah.. " and we can just start all over again with the remaining few humans that are forced to live underground as they wait for the radiation levels to drop. They would be a collection of the greatest minds of today. Military leaders, scientists, comic book artists. Of course, there would be plenty of supermodels and porno stars to get them thru the tough times and work on repopulating the planet. In the end, it will all be worth it and just another crazy cycle of meaningless tripe that humans go thru each and every waking minute. | | | |

whores for every 1 | | | |
| |
| | | wow dude you do not know what you have just done! | | | |
| |
| | | this is from the same retard that brought a bunch of other anti-america bullshit out. saying that we poisoned our troops in the gulf war and used all sorts of chemicl warfare that has destroyed the health of the iraqi people. | | | |
| |
| | | so your saying all the people that have what doctors call "Gulf War Syndrome" that they are relating to our weapons are full of shit and these sick people do not really exist? Its not like I'm saying anyone went out and fed our army little teaspoons of poison but there has to be something to it. | | | |
| |
| | | You should know I served in the Gulf War and the stories of the syndrome are true, I have MY ASSHOLE IS RIPPING | | | |
| |
| | | i say who cares because none of this should be any kind of surprise, nor should it be presented in a manner that is supposed to be surprising to americans.
international diplomacy is a hairy business, but it's something we have to be involved in. i could care less if we built saddam single-handedly and armed him with everything we feared he would use.
who fucking cares.
we took his gay ass out. i'm sure we're arming someone today that we'll have to dispose of later.
it's just the way things should be done.
| | | |
| |
| | | I'd liek to put you in charge of the children. Please... think of the children. | | | |
| |
| | | im not saying gulf war syndrome doesnt exist. its just tha fact that this asshole put it all on the U S . he said we used tons of nuclear weapons and chemicals weapons in the gulf war and are now denying all of it. | | | |
| |
| | | The problem is exactly as you say. "...nor should it be presented in a manner that is supposed to be surprising to americans."
But it IS surprising to americans, and that's what's fucked up. Yeah, politics change and policies change with them, but at least our country should know what the fuck it's done and own up to it.
| |
| | | if anything in that video was surprising to you, then you simply haven't been paying attention.
and to those who don't pay attention, well step aside while us informed folks get things done.
