Holy Jesus, this guy Frank Schaeffer is my new hero. He eloquently speaks to all of my deep and subconscious hate towards the politically conservative-religious messages circulating in the Fox-related media. I love his message that basically we just need to get over that frustration that religious conservatives won't listen to facts -- as they are apparently trained to do so --and just ignore them all the same. 'Head up to the hills and wait for the end, we're going to get along with rebuilding this country' (or something like that). Plus it is so true that these fucks are pretty much the equivalent of an American Taliban - and perhaps the potential to evolve to something Al-Qaeda-like. It's terrible because you know they are so doggedly stubborn that no one can stop them and that the shit is assuredly going to hit the fan at some point (i.e. the consequences of political and relgious conservatism's devil offspring). Sorry that was disjointed, but I'm drinking already this morning and those 'the Earth is 6000-years old motherfuckers' make me so mad.
A presidential assassination does not an apocalypse make, but these fucknuggets 'll push it anyway, en masse. The US is vying for the first national Darwin Award , and the best part is that those chimps don't believe in all that monkeyshine.
