That a child could be taken in the night and returned is not as far fetched as the parents sleeping through it. I've met people (and known a couple for years before and after) who claim abduction. The two I believe have scars, and don't want to talk about it. Fakers make claims. The real deal leaves you feeling ashamed and violated like a rape victim, and is usually dealt with by suppression.
