This story reminds me very much of the WOW thing with opie & anthony a few years back. A bunch of buses in one of the cities that their radio show was sindicated to had WOW advertising applied, shortly after some uptight cunt that couldn't mind her own damn bidness wrote a fucking letter and withoin days the buses were bare.

And then there's the "BONES" thing in Middletown, NJ. A gang of racist football players have gotten together and come up with a sectret sign to identify / individualize themselves. They hold their forearms across their chests in an X form. Symbolic of "jolly roger" type skull & cross bones and chant "BONES".
