Here is my take on Opera. I'm as technical as a Rainbow Gathering bonfire, so I'll put this in Gh0stie terms.

Opera is like the smooth, cultured European who is dating your ex. You run into them at a party, and you're cool with it. As soon as your ex goes to use the ladies room, Opera tries to slip you the tongue in a corner.

^Or you can use an ad server list in your hosts file. I've been rollin' that way for a couple years now. It doesn't catch everything, but it does kill most ads, and it works in Chrome.
