Sadly however as I have taken a couple of courses in this. everything he says is true. there is NOTHING you can say to the police without a lawyer present that can be any good for you what-so-ever. But keep this in mind, this is not to say
that you should not report a crime or act as a witness to the prosecution.
But if you are ever questioned as a suspect , SHUT THE FUCK UP and ask for your lawyer and a phone call.
you CAN NOT WIN .. you WILL NOT WIN. They will threaten and bullshit you. Just ask for your lawyer and leave it at that. Don't say another word till the lawyer says you can. If they say ' well you are not under arrest we just want to question you ' tell them you are not saying another word till you have representation' Period, they will have enough to charge you. or they will cut you loose. either way you have the right to remain silent. USE IT .
