My lulz here are reserved for the whore news anchors with their faux-serious faces and shocked attitude.

There was no need for the news to show the YouTube video in it's entirety in order for the story to be told. While I am sure a ton of people saw the video on YouTube, the video was taken down. Now thousands more people have seen it and the kid is more infamous than he ever would have been otherwise. News stations are whores, the lot of them.
