Kids: you just can't beat them when they really really deserve it anymore. I think I'd like to see that squatting cop reach back, grab his pepper spray and just have at it. 'WHY???!!!' screams the kid.

At the very least, show the kid those graphic car crash video/slide-show things (I can't say I've ever seen it myself) so he knows what could have happened. Or military school.

This is where my GF has chosen to teach 'To Make a Difference' with kids exactly this age, 2nd grade. I had to call her over to ask if it was one of her kids. The amazing part is this really isn't that surprising. There are actually children this young involved in adult headed gangs in her school. Many of the parents laugh off any Child Protective Services interventions and the 20% that might ever come to a teacher meeting have a good chance of being stoned. In another 10 years the tax paying public will be paying more per year to incarcerate this kid than my GF will ever make in the school system trying to keep him out of prison.
