We attempted this in high school with a sober party and loud music and a root beer keg with red plastic cups. The cops went so far as to stop right in front of my house but never actually came up. Later that night when we gave up, they followed one guy for miles and finally pulled him over and gave him all the sobriety tests which he passed (and mentioned to him that there were tons of calls about the party). To this day I don't know why they didn't try to bust us.
