The references to 'Chemical Ali' reminds me somewhat of the terribly awkward re-branding effort to create the 'J. Lo' nickname that Jennifer Lopez decided to adopt mid-career.
He's never actually called Chemical Ali. He's called 'the guy sometimes known as Chemical Ali' and every article that uses that nickname references it as such and puts about 150 feet of editorial distance between itself and the nickname with explanations and apology quotes and airy references to 'some' people.
I guess it's too good a nickname to ignore, but not actually good enough to stick.
ANYWAY, THERE ARE SOME THOUGHTS, SHOVE THEM UP YOUR ASS.
