I was juxtaposing the post about the New York City post-disaster design plans, against the shiny new Dubai designs. And I saying it was ironic. But that wasn't the right word, so I was fumbling for the correct word in a literary sense.

Bitching? Oh, hell no. I paid for some of that Dubai shit. I'm right proud of it. I hope someday Chavez can make Caracas just as nice.

(In this instance, I am referencing Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. But I'm not really serious; I'm being facetious. I actually hope he dies soon.)
