It seems like a topic worthy of exposure and debate, regardless who your favorite is. Fox's justification doesn't hold water, and they have a track record for ridiculing RP; something unworthy of a serious news organization, and smacking of conspiracy.

Follow up in the forum, where top NHGOP leaders disavow FOX as well.

I'm not a fox supporter, but I dont trust msnbc, cnn or others either. They all spin, left or right.

i think fox's justification makes sense. there are quite a few candidates. they picked the ones whose support in various polls are in the double digits. that leaves out two. now, if ron paul magically gains a whole lot of support that he never has a chance of gaining and they still snub him, i would be surprised. this is, after all, popular media, designed to get ratings. note that this headline is not about the other snubbed guy, because he does not have an army of internet nerds with disposable incoming digg-ing and swarming his bizarre minutiae :)

great speaker, personable, seems to be warm and welcoming to the press; he is the antithesis to bush in several ways that people complained about for years.

yet crazier and more religious

i can see morons voting for him because somehow all the bush criticism has become like some ear worm, infecting their opinions and making their brain milk all sour and lumpy. 'well this guy won't get bashed like george,' they think, 'and now i shall never again hear criticism from anyone'

I think it is too early to tell who will take the fall polls, but I think Huckabee has a really good shot at it. The mega-churches are too well organized and too well funded and they like him.
