there is this japanese movie directed by a kurosawa (not that kurosawa) called 'bright future' that has, as one of its plots, a part where there are millions of jellyfish. it's a surrealistic movie where japan's aimless and troubled youth are compared to poisonous jellyfish: dangerous, without purpose, floating through life. worth a watch if you can stand the slow pace
