I don't understand why there would be lead in lipstick. Is it trace contamination that is introduced by another ingredient or is it an actual ingredient? The googles didn't answer this for me.

This article also mentions lead in candy? How does lead come from sugar? It must have something to do with the manufacturing process and or equipment.
