8 out of 10 of these things are blocked by most organizational security groups via blocking websites, limiting administrative privledges, or utilizing a software inventory system which will put you on a bad list if you actually figure out a way to install the shit.
I've gotten nailed (read: fired) for web proxy bullshit at one job, and now I monitor, restrict, remove, and report on non-approved software in my current organization. There are lots of tricks, but not many tricks that aren't detectable.
I guess the bottom line really comes down to: Do you really value your job? if not, go nuts!
