Find the oil filler cap and take it off. It might say 'OIL' or it might say '710'. It is not a '710 cap' as one person once asked for. '710' is 'OIL' upside-down.

Glad someone finally explained that one. I was afraid to ask. Thought I'd sound stupid.

You can never change your engine oil too frequently.

This is one tidbit that was drilled home early when I was a young Kahuna, it is sound advice. I can still hear my small engine repair teacher saying 'OIL AND GREASE IS CHEAPER THAN PARTS' over the din of a dozen Briggs and Stratton engines.
