There is one sea creature that makes a 'human screaming' sound underwater. It'll make you jump out of your skin when you are sitting on sonar watch in the middle of the night listening to the chirps and whistles and routine fishing vessel noises. For a long time no one knew what it was, but I thought I read somewhere recently they've figured it out.
