There's a big local case here wherein some developers want to build the universe's biggest shopping mall and some property owners are protesting that having their land taken by force to satisfy said developers' need is 'unamerican'. They have a big sign out by the highway that says something like 'TAKING PRIVATE PROPERTY IS UNAMERICAN'.

Which is sweet, and desireable, though ludicrously untrue once the soundbite fades from your ears.
