This is amusing, I build boards using a similar process.

The first item he didnt know what was being done titled 'PCB Layers?' is the solder paste print process. Basically applies solder thats been ground up and mixed with flux through a stainless steel stencil onto the pads of the PWB.

The other interesting part is that (Im guessing most Taiwanese and Chinese manufactures do this) is the fact that during the entire build process not a single person is using a ground strap of any sorts.

I did see at least one wrist strap among all those photos, and, to be fair, it is hard to see the wrists of most of those workers. Not to mention, there are other was to ground oneself other than use of a wrist strap, however, those ways were not in evidence in the photos either.

Another intereseing note: those pick and place machines sound like a machine gun.
