It seems reasonable enough to me. Compare it to *any* other industry. 20+ years of stagnation (well...insofar as a user interface, anyway) seems like a bit much.

I wonder if it manages files on other hard drives.I could imagine looking in a folder with 1,000+ .mp3 and trying to figure out which song is which.

'I really think we put up with a lot of crap with our computers.' Yup. Number one world problem, not having a more messy desktop interface than we have now. I actually try to, and rely on, my pc being more organized than my desk, not the same.

There were a couple of cool things though. For one, being able to resize icons. That would actually be useful in the real world. And, once there is a decent touch interface, being able to play with and manipulate photos and files that way would actually be fun, practical, and useful.
