Shit's been crazy, all 6 dead are local Ann Arbor residents or UM doctors. On Wednesday though, the patient got a new transplant since the halfway-done operation left him in such bad shape that he shot up the transplant list (Smoker though so fuck him taking people's lungs who deserve them). Anyways, the operating doctor told the local paper that the patient hasn't yet been told those were HIS lungs in the plane and why his operation got postponed because they think the shock would possibly kill him. It's been on the front pages here all week and there have been dedications and memorial services all week too. UM Hospital is my care provider, I've spent several weeks inside there over the last couple years. It's a great hospital, though some people hate research hospitals.
Just my personal insights.
