You know, every time I see this sort of thing I say to myself ...Self, IS it the fact that people are so dumb now due to a lack of edgumacation that they would fear such a system. Or that they spent millions on this system KNOWING how uninformed the average person is. Jeezuschreamyundeadchristonnapogostick.

I see a system like that and I laugh my ass off that 10.00 worth aluminum or brass screen or 5.00 worth of aluminum foil and wire makes toys like this useless. The same for the 'heat ray' everyone is worried about. Gawds whatta bunch of junk. I don't knock the technology behind it. its pretty cool stuff. But it is a waste of time for this application.... or not depending on how smart you are.

I think those millions could have been better spent on finding a better application for this.

If you dont know the technology behind it how do you know that it can be defeated for 5-10 bux?

Oddly, I haven't said a thing for a year, yet have been given credit for comment after comment. I just haven't felt I had anything worth contributing to the general well being of the community. Actually I do know the technology behind this system. it is just the old 'Ya canit change the laws o' physics captain!

Its neat. but as a security device pretty much useless in the face of any real threat
by someone with even basic understanding if the properties of electricity. Much less anyone knowing how lasers work. Even with the ionized air channel they are not throwing any big amps around. Oh you would get hurt unprotected but not cooked like the electric chair.

Umm... Couldn't ya just crawl under the first one shooting 2 feet off the groud? Or shoot one of the side emitting type deals with a shotgun??

They are pretty loud, it's not like you would walk into it without knowing something was there.
