The astute may note that his family can afford the luxury of hunting guides, something as gratuitous as a .50 revolver that he's gosh-dern plucky enough to hunt with, and his private school honor roll status.

Those same may also wonder at the exact meaning of sixth-grade honor roll in Alabama.

Personally I would have loved to seen this boar alive. I don't think anyone has ever gotten to see one of these THIS big running about. It was a maginficent animal to have survived as long as it did to get that big. It was lord of its domain. I cannot imagine any natural predators would have gotten 100 yards of it.

I like camera hunts myself. I have a 8mpixel camera on a rifle stock, For me, I have stalked to a few feet of deer and other animals. Now THATS a thrill. Not shooting them from yards away., In my humble opinion, this kill is nothing compared to actually learning to close in on an animal in is own back yard
