Point 2 is bullshit. The crucial element of the Gulag thing is imprisoning CITIZENS, which has not been done. Sure, Guantanamo sucks, but for the fascist analogy to work it would need to be filled up with leftists. The implication here is that Bush has actually succeeded in making these steps happen-he only partially as and in a limited and bullshit way. More importantly, don't forget that fascism happens with a leader with mass support who has the power to move the population. Bush has as much a chance now of being a successful fascist dictator as Kucinich, and his speeches are worse.
