At the screening I was at several people left after the first half. I loved 'Death Proof' even though the ending is retarded. 'Planet Terror' was shit, but intentional shit.

I went in knowing that this was sort of like 'Airplane' and 'The Naked Gun,' so when the groan inducing dialogue and situations came, I didn't mind. Perhaps the marketing didn't explain the idea well enough.

Then again, 'Kill Bill' stands on its own without having to depend on the audience being in on the jokes.

I don't plan on seeing this simply beacause my attention span is a lot shorter than 3 hours.
