When I first saw this link, described like '...the globe's pick for most beautiful woman on Earth', I worked up this neat little bit about how conquering peoples that held sway over other peoples are drawn to their natures as being somehow closer to nature and more essential -- witness the American Magic Negro and the number of Hollywood favorites who are mulatto -- and then realized they didn't say The Globe, but rather the globe, so there goes that whole fuking idea.
