I'm a big fan of NIN live music. I own the last two concert DVDs,their live performances seems somehow more to the core and truthful. Didn't like the last couple albums much at all.

I think what going on with the promotion of the new album is cool.

Yeah. The idea of planting 'information mines' in random places around the internet intrigues me.

If I'm not incorrect, one of the sites about Parepin, was swarmed here without it being linked to NIN.

Predictable torture scene, another predictable NIN beat, Reznor is trying too hard to recreate the magic of the downward spiral while simultaneously upping the ante on shock value.

For the record I submitted the parepin link along with anotherversionofthetruth hoping the whole viral marketing thing would catch on; regardless, NIN's concept for year zero is real horrorshow. The idea of a clandestinely drugged, brainwashed populace being duped into religious miracles sounds pretty plausible to me. Then again I just work here...

Gave Up was on Broken, which was before The Downward Spiral.

The whole album Broken (excluding 'Last') was made into a 20 minute snuff film.
It's definitely not as intense as everyone makes it out to be.
