It is amazing how law enforcement and the feds call someone a terrorist just as an excuse to abuse their civil rights and yet they get away with it. So much for civil liberties. When will the country stand up for our founding principals?

I know a guy in Eugene who got 20 years for torching SUV's in 2001. Ever since ELF started torching U.S. Forest Service offices and car dealerships, the feds have lowered the fucking boom on this stuff.

I feel bad for this guy, because it appears he had to take more of the rap than he earned, but he clearly deserved some kind of penalty. They could certainly have found a better way to deal with his imprisonment. While I don't think spray painting is terrorism, I'd call it property crime, and, in this case, done to a pretty high tune. The firebombing portion I'd definately call terrorism (oh, yeah, and a little hypocritical to boot - burn the SUV to save mother from pollution??? Um... yeah).
