| | | | | | | | | | | Unless the BBC brought down the towers, yet somehow reported it too soon, I call bullshit. | | | |
| | | | | | | If we're going to give conspiracy theories airtime, let's have at least a stab at documentation, as with this case. This at least allows for sensible discussion instead of an airing of fears and suspicions and general nervous fingering of itchy tinfoil helmet.
I wonder if anyone will be able to conclusively prove that's the building in question. Looks like just another building to me.
| | | | | | | Here's my basic problem with WTC conspiracies; Why would W or his cronies do this ? He needed no excuse to invade Iraq, he already had one. The action the U.S. took regarding the WTC was sending 5000 troops to Afghanistan. | | | |
| | | | | | | Well, the Administration needed an excuse to pass the 1984-esque Patriot Act. Cheney and company believe in the Imperial Presidency, and they will go to any means to exploit it. | | | |
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | If they wanted a reason, all they had to do was attack the Pentagon. Not as complicated, much smaller death count, same outcome. | | | |
| | | | | | | They did attack the pentagon. | | | |
| | | | | | | ^ He's pointing out the fact that that would be all it would take to declare war, and further attacks (i.e. WTC) would be unneeded. | | | |
| | | | | | | Well, I believe the Securities and Exchange Commision's Building was a main target at the WTC. It housed all the documents on shit like Enron, along with loads of stuff on Rudy Guiliani and others. Nice excuse to get rid of some incriminating stuff. | | | |
| | | | | | | The SEC is in Washington, D.C.
In all fairness, I don't think Bush and Co. could have pulled something like this off without word getting out, and I doubt they'd be stupid enough to do it.
| | | | | | | I don't doubt their stupidity, just their capability. | | | |
| | | | | | | Who would have cared if just the Pentagon got hit? Taking down the WTC is what made the world sit up and take notice, not the Pentagon. | | | |
| | | | | | | Just a note:
I dont think its any coincidence that GW's brother was in on the board of directors of the company responsible for security in ALL the WTC building and creepily enough, Dulles International Airport and United Airlines.
Link.
America is so fucked. | | | |
| | | | | | | Explain to me how being on the board of a company that handled electronic - not physical - security for the WTC or Dulles & United (the latter 2 completed before 1998) creepy? If you're trying to make a connection between 9/11 and that it's absurd. The same with her pointing out the aviation companies, who the space they lease for their meetings is owned by, or that a Bush is on the board of a bank handling foreign embassy accounts.
You want something meatier to dig into, and if the writer were worth her salt and there was a hint of any conspiracy she'd capatilze on the fact that he was a board member of an insurance carrier for the WTC.
How can anyone rationally believe that the U.S. Government (who can't even balance a budget or rescue N.O.) is capable of hiding the what - 600+ people on four planes for over five years now? People that believe this is a great intricate Bushco plan are also the ones who chide them for failing in N.O. - you can't have it both ways, they're either incompetent or evil geniuses. Make up your minds.
| | | | | | | Whats hard for me to believe is that the pentagon was hit with a passenger airliner, WTC7 collapsed without 'inside' help, and that im supposed to believe some guys half way around the world in caves on the Afgan/Pakistan border pulled it off.
The pilots they say flew the planes couldnt even fly, and you know what stumphole?
They keep turning up alive.
| | | | | | | Stump: How can anyone rationally believe that the U.S. Government (who can't even balance a budget or rescue N.O.) is capable of hiding the what - 600+ people on four planes for over five years now?
I see this mentioned in places and it never makes sense to me. If we're positing a government capable of killing thousands of its own people, why not also kill hundreds who might make the slaughter public?
People that believe this is a great intricate Bushco plan are also the ones who chide them for failing in N.O. - you can't have it both ways, they're either incompetent or evil geniuses. Make up your minds.
I see this point often too, and you actually can have it both ways, since the administration isn't one single entity but composed of, working with, and influenced by thousands of separate individuals, each with an agenda of their own.
shitbox: and you know what stumphole? They keep turning up alive.
I bet you heard a suspenseful synthesizer stab when you typed the period on that.

| Sexual Asspussy | This is awesome.
This is the first pornsite I've found in years that I'd actually advertise to swarmers. When you first load it up, it looks just like every crappy scam site out there, except that it's real. It's huge, it's updated constantly, there's no spam, no popups, and no bullshit -- and it's completely free. When you sign up through that link above and respond to the confirmation email, I make a bit of loose change.
See what other swarmers have to say about it. People love this place, so I feel fine about sending you there and am confident you will enjoy boners.
