as for all this beef eatin' I can't disagree that a good filet of moo will outdistance any subsistence food. but you can still enjoy great food cheap. making your own is definitely the way to go. Flour, eggs and milk will make just about 200 different kinds of breads [natural yeast can be used to ferment] as are hundreds of variations on the bechamel or.. aw fuck it.
