Ah yes... Jurassic Park... A film so grounded in hard science that not a single one of the creatures depicted in the film even existed during the Jurassic age. In the film's defense however, 'Late Cretaceous Park' would have been a really crappy title.
Chaos theory deals more with the predictablility, or rather the lack thereof, of particles. In other words, even if we completely understood every aspect of the mechanics of a given set of particles, we still would be unable to accurately predict a given particle's behaviour. Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle states that even if we thought we could predict a particle's position, we would still be unable to make a sufficiently precise measurement to see if we were right.
This is obviously a gross oversimplification, of course...
