What we as sane and reasonable people consider christianity today is NOTHING , NOTHING like it was 300 years ago. or even farther back. People are shocked and horrified by what the members of that church is doing, But Honestly when looked at through a lens of 300 years ago. They would be considered good and rightous people. If you take a moment and realize that the horrific muderous and barbaric are the cornerstones of religion. You should not be shocked by this. HOW many jews and innocent people were totured to death during the inqusitions? HOW many witches burned and adultrous women stoned or drowned? scratch the surface and Fred Phelps will be there with open arms. I believe you mean 'flambe' -- frappe means to freeze and seems to be used mostly in the context of coffee drinks, which would make for some pretty gay flames. So to speak.

Anyway, give fundamentalists the benefit of the doubt. There's no good reason we haven't had an inquisition lately.
