Umm....Please do look at Korea a little. We went there at the request of the U.N. and the people of South Korea. We're still there at the request of the people of S. Korea and because there was never an actual peace treaty signed. Other countries have a military prescence there also - it just happens that because we are able to afford it we have the largest prescence.
