The trouble with impeaching Bush is that you'd be left with Cheney at the helm. I'm not sure the Democrats want that.

No one will be impeached or prosecuted for what's happened. Rumsfeld will retire to his millions of dollars and die in his sleep. Bush will be a lame duck and then retire to his millions of dollars, then die in his sleep.
