Sweet. Catholicism, employing the scientific method, has come to find that the hypothesis of limbo is not supportable by the observable evidence, which is that... nothing limbo-like has seemed to happen for two millennia?
Oh well. If the mortal hubris gets too overwhelming, God will just appear and dictate new rules to whoever climbs the hill with a writing utensil and a blank piece of paper.
