When I was in high school we had a teacher that said he had a dishonorable discharge from the Marine corp. One of the kids told that to her father and he got that teacher fired. I guess the good old days are gone.

Any teacher who makes a political statement in a classroom (unless it is a politics class or something) should be fired. Teachers aren't supposed to give students opinions, they are supposed to help them to form their own opinions.
