Hmm.. I did miss most these movies, probably because of the horrible faggotry odors they appear to emit. But the 1 movie on this list I did see, Tremors, is simply a bad ass movie. If the others are that enjoyable, then I've got a movie marathon in the werkz.

I've seen most of these. Requiem For A Dream is like taking a shower in reverse, and I find Heathers over-rated, but both of these movies should be more widely known than the article suggests.

The LBP continues to cherish 'Tremors' and all its spawn unreservedly despite my best attempts to convince her elsewise. If 'Near Dark' is the movie I think it is, I remember it being pretty decent. I hesitate to commit to this statement, however, because IMDB reports Tim Thomerson appearing in it, which is news to my memory, and conflicts with my hard and fast rule that Tim Thomerson utterly ruins every single movie he appears in.

Amadeus was fuking brilliant--I think it won like 11 Oscars.

Requiem for a Dream is the reason Blockbuster Video lost my business. They only offered a censored version and didn't even indicate it on the box. The end of the film with the classic 'Ass to Ass' Double dildo scene was completely missing. Thanks blockbuster but I'll decide what the hell's appropriate for me to watch and what isn't.

I had the exact same experience. I had no idea they censored shit -- they certainly don't make it easy for you to find out.

That was the last movie I ever rented at BlockBuster.

That movie is so fucking good. I read some article about it, and the original ending was better though.

The school does get blown up, and we see the students in a kind of 'heaven' type of place, and everyone is getting along, which is a sentiment expressed earlier in the movie. For the usual Hollywood reasons, they thought that that was somehow too dark.

Also: 'I love my dead gay son!'

Tremors FTW

The dead gay son bit is a winner of a scene, I'll give you that much.

That Southern Comfort movie looks good, not to mention that it has Powers Fucking Booth!!

One Night at McCools is solid. Seen it a few times.

Tremors is crappy Snakes-on-a-Plane-esque B-movie shit.

Seen um all but Near Dark. Pretty decent list.
Southern Comfort is good LK. Saw it when it was first released in early eighties. Can still watch it over again every few years.

Southern Comfort kicks ass, as is Tremors.

I saw part of Southern Comfort on tv one night and fell asleep... Midnight Run however is a great flick, very underated.
