Al-Qaeda was blamed well before any of the reporters had accesss to any information. The story was basically that the sophistication of the attack looked like Al-Qaeda, and thats where the evidence ended. But Al-Qaeda doesn't really exist besides as a sort of loose affilation of Islamists and a name to hide behind, so blaming anything on 'Al-Qaeda'- as if it has some kind of centralized organization- is bullshit
