I don't buy it.. . I have friends who have gone to infrasound concerts and the speakers are always HUGE . They need to be to generate vibrations below human hearing, which is generally that below about 20 Hz and has nothing to do with speaker designs. For instance, there are natural events which generate signals below 20 Hz all the time and humans do not hear that either. Elephants do though which causes them to dodge a tsunami or two..
Infrasound experimentation can apparently can be really intense where emotional reactions are generated even though you cannot 'hear' the signal being created. I have heard reports of increased anxiety and nervousness from pieces as well as increased calmness. Trippy!
