This will not work on a computer that has the scheduler services turned off... I do this on my boxen as normal, but now there is a good reason.

But, this is, as some might say, AWESOME for getting into boxes at work where, I cannot login as admin to change the screen res.

This doesn't work on my work PC. Even if I just try and us 'AT' I get access denied.

What if I wrote a batch script that did this on its own, would it still think I was the user running the cmd prompt?

Assuming you're PC is in a Domain controlled by Group Policy, your SOL. Running with limited user rights won't get you anywhere here.

And for the best buy command prompt, you can try Start Menu -> Run -> command.com
or
If they locked the Run dialog, you can make a text file, type cmd.exe inside of it then save it as a .bat file. Run the .bat and your command console should appear.
