It is really time that Israel got over it's persecution complex and pulled it's fucking head in. They have their bit of land, why the fuck can't they let the Palestinians have their bit. Ok, I realize that the A-rabs don't like Israel being there at all, but come on, if Israel and the US would stop trying to take over the rest of the area, the Arabs would probably decide to live and let live, especially if a third party nation gave them ONE good lesson ( this goes for Israel as well, thay have to grow out of their entitlement issues ).

What your nutshell fails to contain is the fact that Israel has been on the receiving end of suicide bombers, rocket propelled grenade lanuches into it's general area and random brutal bombings of it's public places and transit systems throughout it's existence. Even in times of 'peace' Israel has had to put up with groups like Hamas and Hezbollah lobbing frags in their general direction.

There is no excuse for the thinly vieled money/weapons trail between Iran, Syria and the Hamas/Hezbollah puppets to continue to exist without Israel being allowed to defend itself due to red tape and a general fear of all out war.

The situation in that part of the world is going to end in the elimination of one camp or the other, sooner or later. Personally, I'd rather see Israel win that war.

The atrocities that have been done to Israel over the last 40 years are matched only by those that Israel itself has inflicted on the Palestinians.

Lefen, there will never be peace in that region as long as the two camps exist. A long while ago I chose to side with the Israel camp over the Muslim bunch. I never said Israel is full of snowy white angelic do-no-wrongers. I know that's not true. But if I had to choose an ally, it certainly wouldn't be Hezbollah, the Palastinians, the Syrians, the Iranians or any one of the multiple flavors of muslim extremism cloaking itself as a government.

I know it's not fucking simple over there. It's a fucking mess, but I still understand why Israel would want to clear a bit of ground. That doesn't mean that I think everything they do is right or good. It means I understand why they are doing this.

Just about every 'atrocity' dished out by Israel has been in self defense. I will stipulate that in some cases the action chosen, or the level of violence, was miscalulated but Israel has always enjoyed the valid justification of self defense. Take note that Israel was attacked by it's neigbors the very instant it became a state, and has been fighting for it's right to exist ever since.

These 'Palestinians' DO NOT deserve their own state--they had one; it was called Israel and they decided to trade sides to the bullshit little kings that were attacking their country. If they had defended their country rather than sised with it's enemies, they perhaps might have still had a place now--now they can go fuk themselves.
